The thin film sensors have been especially developed for measurements in internal combustion motors. The stainless steel membrane is produced from Inconell to withstand the aggressive combustion gases. The high motor temperatures are no problem for the sensor (when properly installed) thanks to the TiON thin film layer.

The standard pressure sensor has has a M14x1.5 thread and a welded stainless steel housing. The electrical connection is via a temperature resistant cable. The proven endurance of the sensor is over 109 load cycles.

These sensors are being used in an extensive range of projects, including in smaller motors for automotive and heavy transport applications.
