Short Description
The powerMELA® stand alone inverter is designed for mobile machines and off-highway vehicles. It is safety insulated and liquid cooled. The inverter includes six combinable IGBT half bridges. Thanks to the modular construction different applications can be combined in the one device. Two AC machines (3-phase) can be independently controlled in 4-quandrant operation as motor/generators. Additionally step-up and step-down functionality can be employed in the traction net, for example to implement a DC/DC converter.
