The thin film technology can also be used to apply strain sensors directly to machine components.  By applying the thin film directly on the part removes the negative influences from foils, glues etc. associate with conventional sensors. The signal is directly received and therefore a very exact image of the actual behavior at the measurement site.

These sensors are exclusively for customer specific variants, as the sensor system must be tailored to the actual geometry and force distribution.
